The Central Library honors the winners and participants in the first cultural festival for the academic year 2024-2025

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the Director of the Central Library and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Festival (Assistant Professor Ziad Qasim Habib) honored the first three winners and participants in the competition with a letter of thanks and appreciation and awarded certificates of appreciation to the winners, namely: the winner of the first place: Hiba Ammar Hussein Muhammad from the Department of Applied Sciences - the third stage for the book The Joy of Being Twenty, the winner of the second place, Narjes Ali Taher Hussein from the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering - the first stage for the book Magdolin, and the winner of the third place: Malak Ali Maktouf Taher from the Department of Electromechanical Engineering - the third stage for the book Artificial Intelligence.

As part of the activities of the Central Library, on Tuesday, 26/11/2024, students and professors of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering - Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering Branch (first stage) were received on a scientific visit to the Central Library with the department professors: (Assistant Professor Akram Hamza Abdul), (Assistant Professor Rasha Fahim Nazim), (Assistant Professor Lamia Hussein Asi), (Assistant Professor Raheel Abdul Kazem Jawad)
‌‎The visit aims to introduce students to the Central Library and its working mechanism and how to benefit from the services provided by the library to students

And for the great role that the Central Library provides from all scientific sources, the method of obtaining sources was explained according to the modern systems available in the library and according to the contexts followed for borrowing and returning source
