Free course on library management, classification and cataloging

The Central Library, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, held a training and application course on the library management system (Koha) and classification and indexing for the two departments: Mechanical Engineering and Production and Metallurgy Engineering from the dates of (11/3/2024 - 11/7/2024) Which is delivered by the Director of the Central Library (Assist. Prof. Dr. Ziad Qasim Habib) and (Assist. Lecturer. Hadeer Muthanna MuhammadSaeed) This course included a comprehensive explanation of the updates to the library management system (Koha), indexing and classification, and the concerned departments were followed up in the field

دورة مجانية لإدارة المكتبات والتصنيف والفهرسة

اقامت المكتبة المركزية بالتعاون مع مركز التعليم المستمر دورة تدريبية وتطبيقية عن نظام أدارة المكتبات (كوها) والتصنيف والفهرسة لقسمي: هندسة الميكانيك وهندسة الانتاج والمعادن من تاريخ (3/11/2024-7/11/2024) والتي يلقيها كل من مدير المكتبة المركزية (أ.م.د زياد قاسم حبيب) و التدريسي (م.م هدير مثنى محمدسعيد)

حيث تخللت هذه الدورة شرح وافي لتحديثات نظام إدارة المكتبات (كوها) والفهرسة والتصنيف حيث تم متابعة الاقسام المعنية ميدانياََ.

Follow-up and supervision of Al-Farahidi University Library

The Director of the Central Library at the University of Technology (Assist.Prof. Dr.Ziyad Qassem Habib), a member of the Ministerial Committee for Follow-up and Supervision, participated in a visit to libraries in private colleges and universities. On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the committee visited Al-Farahidi University Library.

متابعة واشراف لمكتبة جامعة الفراهيدي

شارك مدير المكتبة المركزية في الجامعة التكنولوجية (أ. م. د زياد قاسم حبيب) عضو اللجنة الوزارية للمتابعة والاشراف في زيارة للمكتبات في الكليات والجامعات الاهلية،

حيث زارت اللجنة في يوم الاربعاء المصادف 30/10/2024 مكتبة جامعة الفراهيدي.

وقد اطلعت اللجنة الوزارية على اجراءات العمل والتطورات في اعمال المكتبة وخدمات المستفيدين والموقع الالكتروني للمكتبة وعدد الرسائل الجامعية الموجودة وعدد المصادر والدوريات التي وردت للمكتبة خلال هذا العام عن طريق الاهداءت الشخصية والشراء من دور النشر الرصينة.

Lecturer. Rand Zuhair Khalil) and (Assist. Lecturer. Nour Abdel-Ilah Ahmed) This course included a comprehensive explanation of the updates to the library management system (Koha), indexing and classification, and the concerned departments were followed up in the field.
